Deirdre is our General Counsel, based in our Dublin office. With nearly two decades of experience in aircraft leasing and financing, Deirdre oversees Vmo’s legal and contracts departments. She provides strategic support to aid the company’s business initiatives and growth. Prior to joining Vmo in May 2023, Deirdre was co-Head of Transaction Legal at Avolon. Deirdre is a practicing solicitor in Ireland and she began her aviation career with McCann FitzGerald. She has a Bachelor in Laws and German from Trinity College, Dublin, a Masters in European and International Law from the University of Bremen, Germany and a Masters in Telecommunications and Space Activities Law from the University of Paris-Saclay, France.
